Friday 01 July 2022
From 1:30pm – 4.30pm
(Close friends and family only)
The reception will take place at Romilly & Jason’s new family home:
There’s strictly no parking outside of the family’s home, due to the neighbouring properties located on the private, dead-end lane. Visitors are kindly requested to drive past the entrance to Church Fields and turn right down past the Horse in Hurst pub, where there’s ample, free on-street parking.
Alternatively, you can park in the main village car park (on Trinity Road). If you decide to park in the car park there are two options available: on the left as you turn in is the 24 hour section where you don’t need a disc. However, on the right as you drive in there’s a 3 hour only section, if you park here you’ll need a disc to park. Discs are £1 and can be bought from Janton Newsagents on the High Street – 1 min walk from the car park, however this closes at 2pm. We will have a few spare discs at the house if needed.
Local taxi service is Five Star
The nearest train station is Hassocks, which is 10 minutes from Brighton, 20 minutes from Gatwick and 50 minutes from Victoria.
The family have requested no flowers at the ceremony. But if you’d like to make a donation instead, they’ve chosen Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is a charity close to their hearts. You can make this donation via the funeral directors website here.
We’re collecting tributes, memories and photographs of Jason that will be compiled into a book for Romilly, Jayne and Ryan. All contributions are very welcome – please email email@example.com to ask for guidance. Or, if you know your onions, submit them via our form here. We’ll make a pdf soft copy available for everyone at a later date. Please ensure you upload your memories of Jason by 10th July.
