Home is a successful property company who provide bespoke residential developments. High quality homes that don’t just look good, but stand up to rigorous construction standards and support climate conscious lifestyles.
Shifting to a customer-first mindset – initially the team wanted to keep back some of the web pages for their print brochure, but the research and insights we gained showed that actually giving users all of the information up-front means they’re more likely to get in touch. Users really want to see plan, images and get a sense of the place they’re interested in, before they’ll make any sort of interaction.
Flexible and scalable CMS – we’ve designed and built the WordPress-based CMS to be scalable for Home’s future. So as they bring new properties onboard, we can re-use their initial investment and repurpose the CMS to flex for their future needs.
Instagram-worthy design – based on their existing brand we designed for The Orchard property we brought the designs to life, within the context of the web. The team at Home are extremely design-savy, so we needed to ensure that the new website spoke to their design-forward approach, to their developments and build but also felt warm and approachable.
After working with the internal team to understand their audience; mature and possible retired / semi-retired and affluent, we created a simple website structure and design. The team at Home care passionately about their builds. They create bespoke, small developments – nothing like the Mc Mansions or boring Bovis-type massed produced homes that are starting to ruin the Sussex countryside. We’ve used those same principles to create a website that truly reflects their dedication to design principles – with an a striking design and copy to boot.
Home’s business model is to create unique developments that nestle comfortably within their surroundings and they style each of their developments to have a unique brand and aesthetic. Together we created a website that can be re-used and tweaked for each of their future developments. The flexible way in which we created the CMS means that they can spin up a new website to support their marketing strategy and new developments as they become ready and with a few tweaks to the front-end CSS we’ll be able to ensure that each, unique development feels high-end, and reflects its terrior.
We liked: we loved working with such an innovate company. And we gleaned some top tips for interior design and great suppliers from the team!
